Decription

A UV-curable, high gloss, low odour and low migration, scuff-resistant coating specifically formulated for rollercoat application to pearlized polypropylene film for beverage labels. VR2136 has been specially formulated with a low co-efficient of friction to avoid the build-up of static charges during the labelling process.

Drying

Packaging and Storage

Packed in 25 Kg pails or 200 Kg drums. Storage stability is six months in original, unopened containers at 20°C.

General

VR2136 does not contain ITX (Isopropylthioxanthone) or TAA (Titanium Acetylacetonate).

The raw materials used in VR2136 are acceptable for use under EU regulations governing hazardous materials for the packaging industry. VR2136 is not toxic but will cause taint and odour problems if in direct contact with foodstuffs, especially those of a high fat content. Therefore, VR2136 should be used only in applications where the varnish does not come into direct contact with food.
