This product is suitable for spot varnishing on laminating film with dyne level of > 40 dyne/cm2. As the dyne level of the laminating film reduces so does the adhesion of the varnish.

SUG402
UV SILKSCREEN LOLM POLYBOARD VARNISH
A low odour and low migration UV-curing overprint varnish for paper, board and polyboard designed for silkscreen application to provide a fast curing coat with a smooth glass-like finish. SUG402 is suitable for indirect applications on chocolate boxes or foodstuffs with a high fat content. The cured coating is functionally stable to 220°C.

UV SILKSCREEN RELEASE VARNISH
A gloss UV overprint varnish for specialist applications such as ‘piggy back labels’ where high release characteristics are required. The degree of release that the coating offers will depend upon how well it is cured and whether the film weight of the coating is adequate. Release from the coating surface will also depend on other factors, such as the choice of substrate. Substrates that are very absorbent should be avoided. SUG408 is suitable for silkscreen application in-line on wet UV inks or off-line on dry conventional inks.
